Warm weather is here, the birds a chirping, the bulbs are sprouting, the house smells like flowers, the sweaters are away for the season, and the warm weather linens have been put on the bed! It really is finally spring! There is something a bit romantic about peeling off the flannel sheets, tucking them away in the closet, and replacing them with the fresh, lavender scented cotton sheets for spring! It’s really very satisfying, and feels like a bit of a rebirth in the bedroom.

I’ve had soft cotton sheets all my life, but after scrolling the wilds of Pinterest, and swooning over minimalist spaces and Scandinavian design, I took the plunge and invested in linen sheets. I could not be happier with the purchase. I was worried going into this that the sheets would be itchy feeling, and while the loose weave takes a moment to get used to, I soon didn’t notice it, and fell in love with the luxurious texture!

I wanted to find good, solid, linen sheets that didn’t break the bank…and since linen anything can be pricey, I turned to options like Target to find something with quality and affordability…plus Target is the best, so why wouldn’t I turn there first?! (FYI this is NOT a sponsored post, just me sharing my love for Target, haha!) I quickly honed in on the Casaluna by Target brand, which had a beautiful variety of sheets in gentle, calming colors. My poor duvet cover also needed an overhall, so I also grabbed the linen blend duvet cover and pillow shams in a lovely cream color.
