What I Packed for California

For those of you who don’t know, I am currently in California, where I will be living for the next 3 months. I am working a fun job at my friend’s farm for the summer, and plan on using my days off to explore and go on fun day trips around SoCal. Most people think I am not coming back because I will fall in love with CA and never want to leave…but this is not the case. I am a California native, grew up here, and visit all the time, so I know what to expect, and I know that I want to be living in NH. I also have a vacation plan in Acadia as soon as I return to New England, so I am definitely coming back, have no fear!

3 months in CA is a long time, so I knew this was not the trip to pack light. To make things complicated, I plan on doing a range of activities while I’m here. I need nice clothes for events, warm clothes for cold evenings, cool clothes for the day, athletic clothes for the gym, wetsuits for surfing, swimsuits for swimming, hiking clothes for hiking…and the list goes on, so I needed to pack a range.
