My trip to Basin Harbor in Vergennes, VT, on the banks of Lake Champlain, was an absolute blast! Basin Harbor had been on my radar for a while now, so when the opportunity to go presented itself, I leapt.

I had so much fun spending a day in Stowe! It had been on my bucket list since I had moved to New England 11 years ago, and for some reason or other, I had never gone. Boy was it everything I imagined! From the Swiss fondue to people wandering in town with their ski gear…it was winter sport heaven.

One of the best Christmas day trips ever is to a small corner of eastern Vermont. Quechee and Woodstock are Vermont gems any time of the year, but especially so in December with all the holiday festivities and decorations! I had been itching all month to get to Woodstock, and it lived up to all expectations and beyond!
