Just outside of New England, and across a lake, are the beautiful Adirondack Mountains! I love how accessible they are, and how full of beautiful pine trees and rustic cabins. What strikes me is even though you are only an hour or two away from Vermont, you feel in a completely different place.

A Corner of Eden is a British countryside dream.  It is exactly what you imagine country farm life in England to be.  It is a historic, self-catered farmhouse in Ravenstonedale, just toward the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, very close to the Lake District.

My first time in Paris! It was not what I expected at all, and I can’t even put my finger on why. I think seeing the city in movies and photos is no comparison for actually being there, on the streets, in person, taking it all in.
